Rivers Edge Golf Club Golfer Reviews & Ratings
Awesome, awesome and more awesome !! From the moment you arrive and view the 9th and 18th holes from the clubhouse veranda you know that you are dealing with no ordinary golf course. We started on the 10th and so finished our round on the 9th – take my advice, read about this hole and play it accordingly. It is the best par 5 that I have ever played and helped that I parred it – driver, rescue and 7 iron. There isn't a weak hole out there and there are a lot of carries – you have to trust the yardage and hit the right club. The resort would have received 5 stars but for the poorly stocked pro shop which didn't even have yardage books ( no fault of the guy working there who was very pleasant and helpful), it was the only club where we didn't purchase anything. We will return here again as we would love to have another go with knowing the lay out.
This is an awesome course. the greens are perfect the scenic layout is by far one of the best in the area, the Staff is top notch, attententive, polite and fun. Our group has been going to Myrtle Beach for 16 years nad this is in our top 5 courses to play. I highly recommend playing this course. you will not be disappointed.
