Vanna White, hostess and letter turner on the television show Wheel of Fortune was born and raised right in North Myrtle Beach. Vanna has her own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. She still makes regular trips to her home town.
Kelly Tilghman is a broadcaster for the Golf Channel, and the PGA Tour’s first female lead golf announcer. Tilghman played professional golf in Australia, Europe and Asia from 1992-1996. She also served as a teaching pro. She now works as a course reporter for The Golf Channel, after having served as the main play-by-play announcer during its PGA Tour telecasts.
