The Legends Golf and Resort is centrally located off 501 in Myrtle Beach, and features 3 18-hole golf courses modeled after links courses in the British Isles. There is another Myrtle Beach golf course that is part of the Legends Resorts group that is located just across the border in Sunset Beach, SC – Oyster Bay. This gem is less known than the other Legends courses, but in many ways can be more challenging.
Designed by Dan Maples, variety and innovation are what makes Oyster Bay stand out among all the courses in your Myrtle Beach golf package. The par 70 course plays at 6700 yards, but with the tall & deep bunkers, undulating greens and long par 4’s, tit will test even the skill of the best golfers. The difficulty of a hole doesn’t need to be length, and this mindset is where Oyster Bay shines, especially with the use of the natural hazards. Par 3’s are memorable, especially with the island greens and the alligators that you can see around the golf course.
When you add Oyster Bay to your Myrtle Beach golf package, you will play a course that received 4.5 stars from Golf Digest and is listed on their list of Top 60 Myrtle Beach golf courses at #29. A challenging course, but one that we find golfers choose to play time after time.
Oyster Bay can be booked in the Legends Stay, Play, Eat & Drink Package and as always can be added to any Myrtle Beach golf package that you create with our golf specialist at Myrtle Beach Golf Authority.
