The 27-hole layout at International World Tour Golf Links has announced it will close eight holes on the International nine June 1. Housing is planned for the space.
Opening in 1999 World Tour featured 27-holes approximating famed golf course holes from around the world. The International nine includes holes representing Valderrama in Spain, Royal Melbourne in Australia, Wentworth in England, and Doral, Baltusrol, Inverness, Seminole, Spanish Bay and Jupiter Hills in the U.S.
The Open and Championship nines featuring holes inspired by those at 14 courses including Augusta National, Oakmont, TPC Sawgrass and St. Andrews will remain open. Paralleling World Tour Boulevard and finishing at the clubhouse hole nine on the International will remain open. This presents a player with a hole to complete a round, if repairs or required on an Open or Championship hole.
