Everyone remember earlier in the year when the Wilmington area got to host a PGA tour event? Well, that was a one time thing because Quail Hollow in Charlotte is hosting the PGA Championship next week (August 7-13) and couldn’t host two PGA events in one year. They chose the major championship and therefore, moved the yearly tournament that is normally held at the golf course to one in Wilmington. So, with the last major championship around the corner and just down the road in Charlotte, why would Myrtle Beach be on your mind? Simple, some of the best golf courses in the country can be found right here along the Grand Strand.
