Aaron Rodgers sinks game-winning putt to take down Tom Brady and Phil Mickelson
The 4th annual “Match” went down yesterday and boy was it a treat. 16 holes at The Reserve Golf Course at Moonlight Basin in Big Sky, Montana was all it took for a winner to be crowned. On the very first hole Bryson chipped in for birdie to take an early lead, but Tom and Phil would tie the match up all the way through the 7th hole.
It was an interesting dynamic with two of golf’s most famous players and 2 of the NFL’s greatest quarterbacks of all time playing together. It was an entertaining match along with funny banter between the guys and the commentators in the booth. This style of golf gives the viewer a better understanding of these guys’ personalities and quirks and it seems like that is something golf has been missing with their major competitions. It will be interesting to see who will be playing in next year’s match and how it is broadcasted.
Over the length of the match, more than 6 million meals were donated and over $2.5 million was donated to My Brother’s Keeper.
