Beachwood Golf Club in North Myrtle Beach has long been one of the favorite Myrtle Beach golf courses for visitors and locals alike. Beachwood opened in 1968 and was designed by famed golf course architect Gene Hamm.
This summer my wife and a group of friends played 9 holes every Thursday afternoon. We were fortunate that the Beachwood general manager, Kevin Lawson, joined us for these great late afternoon outings. It was a great time all summer long and we would still be playing if the daylight wasn’t running out on us. I would definitely recommend to all golfers that they try this next summer.
Beachwood Golf Club is undergoing some course improvements this winter. They will be reshaping all of their bunkers and will be replacing the sand in all bunkers. This will greatly enhance the Beachwood golf course and will be a great enhancement to the beautiful wide fairways and very playable course.
If you are booking a Myrtle Beach golf package or just booking a Myrtle Beach tee time you should definitely consider adding Beachwood Golf Club to your list.
